I'm a big bagpipes fan (guess its my partly Celtic background). I'm not sure what I'd do with this, but its a prop I would dl and think about. Good one. Diane

Now somebody HAS to post a "Fat Bastard" character. (That's his name...the fat guy from Austin Powers 2...sorry 'bout the language.) He played the bag pipes...and was otherwise very...um...gross.

I still have a few things to work out on it, but I'll try to get it out by the weekend. -Gabe-

That looks like some very nice work. I'm always glad to see some originality here. Anson

I serious pic of the traditional lone piper on the moors in a foggy Byce scene... I would love to have this prop!

lol! and i thought somebody had actually built a shotgun prop. :) does it come with traditional tartan textures? or do you have to make your own?

Ok Anson, Thank you comming from you that means alot. I apreciate it. newc, I have lots of piping music too, but luckaly it's not out of tune I can also sample it if anyone wants for an animation. (my best friend is a piper las.) As a mater of fact It is her set of pipes I used as a referance. Loraine and Dian, I'll make shure to let you all know when it's up. Now I'm going to have to talk someone into making a Kilt., or bending the one I made to fit the charector. (I have tryed and also had no sucsess with it either.) If anyone knows how to get rid of pesky or unwanted UV maps Please let me know. Ikyoto, I too had the visions of the lone piper atop the foggy clifs of some Lock. (maybe insted of a snake charmer, we will have a Nessy (Lockness Monster)charmer. Bloodsong, No textures yet. I screwed up the UVM map and was up till 6 AM trying to fix them. (Still no luck, The old ones won't go away.) I have been trying to get tartans as well, but I dont have Photoshop, and can't make them. If you want to try then great. The other thing that escapes me is the Rope that hangs off of the drones. I'm trying to make them posable, but the way that Ik chains work in poser, when I move the drones, the ropes don't move with them. -Gabe-

heya; you know, painter makes tartans. (or it used to, in that pattern/weave thing it had.) actually, if you have the bag-thing (im not up on the technical terms, sorry) set as its own material, people could sample or grab or make tartan patterns and just assign that picture to it, rather than trying to paint it on the uvmap. what are you using to make uvmaps? in uvmapper, you can grab parts (or the whole) and give them new maps. you may have your rope ik chain backwards... the target should be the part on the um... wherever it connects to. the base should be on the drone. that way, when the ik is on, the target stays still and the rest of it will move.

I have panter 3D, and I know it makes one, but I can't seem to get the colors or paterns to change. I'd like to get either Mac Gregor, New Hampshire, or Mac Kenzie tartons, because That covers my Clan, State and Reinactment regiment tartan's. I also have had trouble finding tartan examples that can be made seamless on the net. So if anyone knows where to look, let me know. I am getting close to finishing. -Gabe-
