Firstly, all the popular terraformers series have been updated to include texture tiling on a parameter dial, which allows you to keep your render looking good even if you want to put the camera close up or morph the terrain heavily. You've probably already had an update email from wherever you bought your packs; if you haven't downloaded it now's a good time, cos this is a major improvement. If you bought them from Renderosity, where they aren't on sale any more.. don't worry, I'm working something out for you. Keep watching this thread...

And if you haven't already got them - now's an even better time because there's a landscape bundle which lets you get all the sets at under half price, for a very limited time. Including the new one...

(If you don't need the whole bundle pack, all the individual packs are at sale price as well, although not with quite such a massive discount).

The Horizons pack includes a morphing figure with cloud, water and land all inside it, as well as extra cloud and land layer figures for more complex scenes. You can curve the horizon as much or as little as you want, for everything from spaceships coming in to land from orbit, to bathing in the rock pools. There are loads of texture options, and three displacement options as well to give you even more variety.

Finally, the Terraformers Fantasia and Terraformers Alien Worlds are both now available at Content Paradise, upgraded and on sale!

My lord you have been a busy girl!!   Not ever sure what I need at this point.  I love your stuff so I will be getting the update for sure as I bought it from Netherworks but the two new Fantasia and Alien Worlds looks very very fun as well as the Horizons pack. 

Folks this gal is as good at terrains as she is at doing texture packs for the G2 and Phoebe figures.  So do take the plunge you won't be sorry!!

I've got Terraformers and WeirWeather and (as you know) I love them! Whenever I create a comic, terraformers always is part of it. I'm going to purchase some of the new additions now, since they're on sale, good time to buy :-)

I've purchased Terraformers at CP in 2005, but I've not received any update mail from them.

I can only agree with Ramwolff, Terraformers is awesome. I've got Microcosm 2 (which is excellent stuff) before getting terraformers,  but I sure do prefer using Terraformers. The best terrain system for Poser imo!

You should be able to just redownload the file, and get the new one. AFAIK the new files are in place wherever they are.  I'm glad you're getting lots of use out of them!

I bought most of my terrain stuff from your store at Netherworks.  I see Joe closed it up.  Not sure I have those receipts around any more.  I'll have to look for them..... What to do?

I've been in contact with Jo (Netherworks).  He had to close up the old site becuase he even got locked out and couldn't even get in through the backend.  He's gone ahead and reopened Netherworks again but you will have to sign up anew, nothing was saved.  If you wish to have your downloads reset or what ever you will have to send him an IM with proof of purchase.  For items bought through his store but from other vendors like Cyllan then you really might want to work that out with them instead since if it's an update you need, as do I, that wouldn't be something Jo could help you with any longer.

If you bought it at Renderosity or Netherworks stores, I will make an encoded download available to you somewhere. Soon. I'm working on it.

I've just downloaded the update and the new texture tiling on a parameter dial feature is just great! This saves me a lot of work, no more going into the material room and changing texture scales, but just move a dial and done.

OK, looks like I got the Terraformers here at 'Rosity.  So downloading that one.  Any updates for the Geoforge or any of those later products Cyllan??  Those I know I bought directly from Netherworks.  So just wondering!  Looking forward to trying out the newly improved Terraformers with Apollo!!
