Photoshop CS3 Extended, if I had the money for it, has something very similar to UV mapping in it. It looks orgasmic. I want to have its babies.

I'd settle for having enough cash to buy it!

Ouch, seems like what we refer to as a high maintemance babe.  Big bucks for a big time.  I'll have to wait until 2025AD when you can get it a Walmart for $11.95.

The folks at Luxology (makers of Modo) helped write the 3D code for CS3. Lux also contributed to CS3 a bunch of the model content that comes with Modo 2.0. I've ordered the upgrade but no word yet on ship date. I'll let y'all know what I think when I get it. Best; Dan

The thing about demos is they always make me want to buy what I see. :-)  I do agree, it is impressive. Probably won't buy it soon... but it's something now to keep my eyes on.  A wishlist item.

looks like it only does basic shapes like cones and planes and i see nothing about exporting the 3d object , so I say keep your babies.

for some free stuff i made
and for almost daily fotos

I saw the title with 'babies' and saw drac's name, and thought "this cant be good".

but anyway, i am in shock. But i's settle for the money, rather than the product.

Looks like it uses uvmapping of 3d objects................in 2D.  I don't see anything about exporting uvmaps or mapped objects to real 3d applications.  But I could see where it would come in mighty handy.
