the idea is actually not as far off as one might think.
due to the success of folding@home and the ps3 sony is looking into delivering the same type of solution to commercial applications and companies.
Now, granted e.on´s a small company so i bet it wont be the first one sony has in mind, but with the right tools and support of course our ps3´s will sooner or later find it´s way into design and media related stuff for it´s distributed computing powers, and a renderfarm for sure makes sense, pity tho i recon we´ll have to be patient like .ell to see it happening with vue.

hi guys i'd like asking a "strange" thing...
i'm buying vue 6 xstream and i like asking a thing about rendering:
i've the pc linked to ps3 via lan...now i know that ps3 home can use the huge power of ps3 for calculating math for the research of proteins over internet (so use it not only for games)..
is it possible to use the cell processor of ps3 to help the pc in the render?
