If you are not afraid of competing against some pretty darn good images, here is a link for you.

Read the rules, browse the gallery to see what you are up against and download the scene sample (there is even a sample in Vue 6 format).

I recognized a few names already...

Good luck !

Weird - many of the submissions have changed the texture of the background - the "grid" is clearly still there, but textures have been added, color changes, etc.
I thought from the rules that that is not allowed...?

Just downloaded the sample scene for Vue and was just wondering how far I can go and not have it rejected.

Go under "The Project" and to the right you'll see a drop-down menu to choose which one you wanna download - Vue6 Inf is in there.

I've asked them about changing the color or picture of the background (while keeping the lines completely intact), as well as changing the DOF as I love to render things with a shift of focus.

Let's see what they say?

Been thar...done that!..Very cool images.
Regards to the grid...better have the grid lined up exactly as stated...or rejection is pretty much guaranteed.
Easy way around it...cover it as much as possible...does'nt seem to to matter that way, regardless of the "rule" that is stated...I e mail the website owners...they basically gave the same response to my ??? about the grid.
