Subject: How Do I Remove This?

The problem is the light horizontal band across the sky and sphere. I want to have the background of my Spectral Atmosphere all one color so the reflection on the sphere doesn't have a horizontal line. I tried to remove the fog, haze etc. Then I tried to change the height of the sky etc. No luck after playing around for 2 hours. Do any of you know how I can fix this? Thanks

Try changing the aerial perspective to one, and set haze density to zero.

You can also try moving the sphere higher and aiming the camera up.

Yo could also try turning the ground plane into a mirror.

I enclose some old atmospheres I did when I created a series with only monochrome colors as background. Maybe that helps.

The easiest way is to rotate your camera so that the horizon is well below the sphere.  Setting the haze and/or fog to 0 will help, too.

Or you can use a vertical plane with a flat color and place it behind your sphere, large enough to take the whole field of view.

Thanks All, I will try your suggestions and see what works best. Thanks for the files Wabe! I will look at them.

Wabe, Can't seem to open the files.

What do you mean? The zip is corrupted? The files can not be loaded as atmospheres?

Walther, Sorry my mistake. I didn't realize they were atmospheres. The files work fine and look great. They should come in handy. Thanks
