I saw a request for information redarding "How to make a MAT file' to automate the process of loading textures in Poser like DAZ have done with the new Victoria textures. So I've done a small tutorial. It's a very simple process. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.renderosity.com/~syyd/pntuts/mat.htm Please visit my galleries while you are there. There are a lot of nice pics and some really cool Poser animations. Thanks, Colm...

Thanks, Colm. Very timely, too, as I'm working on turning a model I did into a Poser figure. It'll be nice to be able to include a proper material file. Nice web page, by the way. --Terri

Posted earlier, never showed up, dunno what happened, maybe it was on another thread. Nice tutorial, but you need one more "}" at the end. regards, Dan http://www.neca.com/~dwilmes/cr2edit.html Sorry Win only for software http://www.zenwareonline.com for ZenPaint and ZenTile and very soon ZenGrid http://www.zenwareonline.com/vuemaster/vuemaster.html for VueMaster

Thanks Dan:) but it seems to work both ways for me????

Probably because there are actually 2 extra "{"'s, and Poser is only counting for even, not matching them up. But not good practice, if the file was longer and you pasted in something else and missed a "}" you would have a hard time tracking down which was the unmatched pair. That's what the Check for Missing Brackets tool does in CR2Edit, but it is best to avoid them if possible. You can just add one at the end and dump the one just under "figure" and you'll be all set. regards, Danhttp://www.neca.com/~dwilmes/cr2edit.html Sorry Win only for software http://www.zenwareonline.com for ZenPaint and ZenTile and very soon ZenGrid http://www.zenwareonline.com/vuemaster/vuemaster.html for VueMaster
