  1. How to make working screen as big as possible thats the little square bit in the centre I mean.

  2. Best way to install freebies manually or is their a better way?

  3. How do I save an OBP file which is from my imported group as a obj file for use in Poser7. The full instructions please if possible. I can load it fine, their is just no E for edit room along side the box just an M then U.

Hello Rowlando !

to work with a big construction scene window
just click on the little triangle below the 5 balls of the tools
select photo : 768x512 that's better now !

to install free stuff, create a scene,  import the object
click on the triangle right of the word "create" the objets library window open
select the library you want to add in and click on the "add" word ! that's all now you can use your object
in all your future scenes

only the terrains can be exported from bryce, sorry !
have fun with Bryce
visit my gallery !

is it clear ?

i'm not sure, but i made some try with different object, imported objects, primitives, terrains
only terrain have the export menu active, so…

perharps you can find the golf objects in free stuff in the stuff area of renderosity ! or  in the 3D web sites
I've found the text below at http://www.brycetech.com

"For an object to be exported it must be a mesh..i.e. it:

  • can not be part of a boolean group
  • can not be a Bryce torus or light
  • must have the letter "E" appear when it is selected
  • must be a previously imported object, rock (including rock groups), or terrain (including lattices)

**If the "E" does not appear next to the selected object, you CAN NOT export it.

it seems to be the ultimate answer to your question !

bye

Welcome to Bryce!
Only Bryce uses OBP, so nothing will convert it.  To bring figures + scene together you'd have to  export from Poser as an OBJ file and import that into Bryce.
Similar to what amigafreak said, double clicking the centre render button will also bring up a scene set up box, where you can select from even more document sizes - pick one thats the best for you.

Have fun!

Thanks so much, I installed Bryce 6 last night, wow great programme.

Not sure I like the limited export abilities though, however what an awsome scean builder, I love it.

Post a pick soon.

Thanks all again, you can hijack my thread anytime, so long as it helps and adds fun.

Quote - Not sure I like the limited export abilities though, however what an awsome scean builder, I love it.

The only things you cannot export from Bryce 6 are:

  • Infinite planes/slabs
  • Bryce trees
  • Metaballs
  • Lights
  • Skies
  • Camera

Imported meshes can be exported by clicking on the "E" button, then pressing Cmd/Ctrl+D

For everything else, use the new Convert to Mesh option:
