Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 10 9:40 am)
I personally find that once I get past 22" I just start to feel like I can't get far enough away from the damn screen. I do have several friends who love theri 24" to 30" screens.

went from a 19" crt to a 24" widescreen lcd. and I'm loving it! at 1920x1200 screen res I can setup
poser and have a 1280x900 preview window and all the menu windows open, and never have to
move a thing to access any of em. ain't never going back to a square screen EVER! 8-)
two wide screens setup as dual monitors would be heaven. I went with the Samsung 244TSV
24" 6ms, it's freaking B-E-A-U-TIFUL! 8-)
Hi Bruce
I have an NEC 30 inch widescreen, its huge, but I can't seem to get the screen from stretching the view to wide, ie when I load a ball its distorted.
I thought I could change this in the set up, but not sure how or if it can be changed.
Perhpas I should by the apple Imac with 24inch screen for the apple 30" screen to go with my PC.
I think its the screen resolution that enables the distortion to be resized, don't know.
Any suggestions, mybe you could show me a pick of your screen please or setup, it might help me sort it out.

Rowlando,
If I remember correctly you can setup your screen ratio via your graphics card.
The apple monitors are by far the best monitors available - however they are also the most expensive. But with the 30" monitor you won't need two - you have more than enough room to see everyrhing.
But check your graphics card setup - you should be able to fix things there.
Lastly, if you are deciding to go with the apple monitors - check first - make sure your graphics card can accept the apple monitor.
Hi Bruce
Thanks for that yep tried to change the settings from my graphics card, but I think the LCD TV resolution is restictive and thus the screen ratio is not working like I think is should.
I have been checking so I think I might go for the IMAC 24" machine and move over to apple mac system.
Thanks for your help.

I currently have 2 x 19 inch monitors, I am going to change one to a 27 inch with 8ms refresh rate.
What your thoughts please.
I am wondering if the 27 inch might be to big or poser use??
