Attached Link: Freebie Nicki cat Texture

I have finished my new Nicki tabby cat texture freebie for the DAZ mil house cat...

This is a direct link, and there is a picture there to see "Nicki" cat.

Be sure to visit Planit3D's home page, and see all the fantastic articles, and information, forums and galleries!

Is it Poser only?

I've got the Mill Cat, but not Poser.

I have no idea if it work in DAZ Studio if that is what you are asking... it IS only the texture so if you know how to apply ONE texture for the entire cat and all it's parts, it should work! :)  I don't use DS.

Oh good, could you tell me how you applied the texture?

The easy way is replacing textuemap-filename in other MAT-Pose file for MilCat ( also can download at PlanIt3D) using Text Editor.
Or you can change texturemap selecting multiple materials in DAZ|Studio.

Unfortunately I don't really understand enough about how DazStudio uses textures to understand what you just said:
*"The easy way is replacing textuemap-filename in other MAT-Pose file for MilCat ( also can download at PlanIt3D) using Text Editor.
Or you can change texturemap selecting multiple materials in DAZ|Studio."*This is a very big problem for me as it also means I'm having trouble applying my own texture images to anything at all in Daz Studio...

So if anyone at all can direct me to a simple but step by step explanation of how to apply a texture in DS - I would be forever greatful to them...

(the really irritating thing is that I'm sure I never had this trouble with earlier versions of DS, but things have got so complex in the "surfaces" tab, that I no longer understand what does what to what...)*
