**Hello once again all;**

This time my problem is applying mats to DAZ Morphing Face Mask once I have imported my figure into Bryce.

Please look at the attached jpg and you will notice that there are lines under my figures eyes.

What I have done is;

  1. Given the face mask a gold metal mat from materials in Bryce.

{This was done in hopes of getting the look and feel of a real tiara and not just something painted on my figures face},  I also gave the bump a setting of -200.

  1. Applied a tiara mats that came with one DAZ Fantasy Dress mats.

**My problem is now I can’t seem to get rid of the lines under my figures eyes.  **

I am also now sure if it is the face mask that is causing the lines or the actual skin textures I am using which are also attached.

Can anyone please provide me with help on this problem?

Thanks much

Steel

I don't know how much help this is; but, move the mask and do a quick spot render, then you'll be able to see if it is the mask making the lines.
I'm guessing, but I think that the lines are the edges of the mask object showing up.

How unfortunately, my only solution is to postwork to get rid of it. Because of my limited knowledge, I'm not very good in this department.

However, your pose and figure here is positively stunning. I just had to say that.

Hello again   Ive removed the face mask and discovered that the problem is not in the mask but my figure itself    I have even tried different face mats but still get the same results.
Do you think the clone tool in photoshop might fix the problem?

Definitely, zoomed in as close as you dare get. This way any repairs remain invisible to the eye. She's a terrific character, posed brilliantly - wouldn't want to ruin her. Well you can't - yes, that would be the best solution. Less time consuming. Which you could spend too much of trying to figure out what happened - you can do that later.

If it is the face mask showing through. You might try enlarging the texture for it in photoshop. If the texture is too small, parts of the mask will show up.

one of the old bugaboos about importing figures (Daz or otherwise) into Bryce is that it would make the outermost layer of the eyeball opaque. A workaround for this is to go to the glass mats, select the most transparent, and apply that to the outer eyeball. Worth a shot.

Are you rendering in Poser or Daz Studio? and when you import her into Bryce are you doing  it via obj or via Daz Studio, best way  at least for me is to take her into Daz Studio  as a pz3 of the character   once  rendered in D/S then take her into bryce..  If your using poser what version are you using and is it V3 or V4??   Hope you don't mine but got a message from a friend of ours and ask me to stop by ...,  yet it appears you have your answers.

**I created my scene in Poser 6 I then inported to DAZ and from there opened up Bryce 6 but when I tried to import my entire scene in to Bryce got error msg *Not Enough Memory*.    Also the hair morphs did not come out right when I used the Poser to DAZ to Bryce method.   I went back to Poser and made copies of the orig. file then deleted two of the figures from one and the other two from the other.   Then Imported them into Bryce 5 as Wave Front Obj's and did most of the matting of clothing, skin & hair; then I opened the files in Bryce 6 to mat the Jewelry. I like importing into B5 first because the newer versions of Bryce tend to group all the body pars and other objects as one.   Example in B5 you have RShoulder & LShoulder and all their body parts just as in Poser, but in Bryce 51 or above you get Torso so if you wanted to mat one part of the body one way and another the other way you can not do it. The figure I am useing is V3 with a figure morph called *Sonia* which is a freebee here at Rendo by** [ **mari_e17**](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=230020)** The mats on the face mask are from different sets for the Morphing Fantas Dress. Attached is the orig scene done in Poser.**

I seem to remember some problems with dynamic hair not playing well in Bryce. There's supposedly a workaround, but I don't remember what it is.

How much memory are you running?? I get that error also and I run 2 megs of memory, plus I personally have not tried to take in a whole scene for me I like the rendering  engine in Poser6, although some do like to render in Bryce, what I do not like about importing  a pz3 or an obj from Poser to Bryce is it never fails something always seems not to be found then it becomes a hassle to try and find where the rest of the items are. I do not use any dynamic items some of the best  hair and clothing just really upsets D/S  as for the character Mari_e17 makes some darn good characters, so I doubt if it is the character it is just the inter face between the two programs

I also find of course you loose a lot of details and colors  just seems easier to keep the two programs seperate, but a lot of people do this.  Affraid I'm not that up on Bryce I'm using 6.01 which tends to crash over the smallest thing. Yet I have taken a single character into Bryce 6.01 then you would have to un group her to change or correct the colors. I am sure many people here are experts on Bryce but you may want to address this in Daz Bryce forum.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help affraid this is way beyond my knowledge.
Good Luck
