Ok this has been rendering fine up today, now its looks like this, any ideas(not changed anything with render settings) Ahh yeah its Lucezia locks

Looks like it has lost its material settings. You can probably fix it by applying one of the MAT poses that (probably) come with the hair.

Oh yeah I notice when I hit one of the mat poses it does not change like it did before

Try rebooting.

If that doesn't work... you may wish to look at the amount of content in your runtime. I remember a previous report that having a massive amount of items in one's runtime could affect the application of MAT poses to hair. I don't think anyone figured out what that amount was.

Of course you can always apply the textures manually.

That's Lucrezia hair. redownload/reinstall. Often, that works.

PS. Make sure the hair is selected when you apply the MAT pose.

will try that all, just so frustrating, why should it be so hard. After all we pay for this, hard cash. If this does not work I will be hard on Curious labs tech support. I was once a tech support engineer, if I did not correct problems in reasonable time, the boss would be riding me. And this goes out to all you vendors, please ensure all that you are selling us works, fed up with having to adjust everthing and get it looking good. For example Girl next door, when loading the dress still body parts show, I hate spending hours tweaking, slows the PC up.

Lucrezia Locks is an hr.2 file which means it carries with it the characteristics of a prop.  Props do not take MAT poses unless they are parented to a figure.  It's a well-documented problem with MAT poses.  But because MAT poses are a hack, they aren't supported by EF.

Make sure the figure the hair is smart-propped to is selected and the hair is selected from the props menu, then apply your MAT pose.  Or you could convert the MAT poses to mc6 settings and you wouldn't have to worry about it anymore (if you're using P6 or above)

If blame must be placed, the fault in this instance is with the creator for not documenting it in the readme, not the software.  I have this hair and it's outstanding!

What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

If you're talking about the Smart Dress, there's an INJ pose included that will adjust her cleavage to fit into the dress, what sort of adjustments have you had to do?

If it isn't the Smart Dress, it might be a good idea to mention what it was.

As for your problem at hand, Poser had bad memory management, and still needs a reboot every now and then, in particular for big images or after a lot of work.  I'd try any of the suggestions above.

Yeah, after I make any kinds of major detail changes... I always save the file then shut down poser for a good half hour or so (killing any background tasks) and then re-open to render. This lets me get the fastest renders and protects from serious crashes (which used to happen alot)

A bit more on the Smart Dress: you should have a folder called "Blackhearted GND2" in your poses folder; there is a !Body_PushUp INJ pose in there that will modify the breasts and torso to fit. This is what it looks like with the figure zero'ed, the morph injected, and the dress conformed.

If this is not what is happening to you, it might be a good idea to tell us what it is that you are doing, and what results you are getting.
