Subject: Hypervue Render problem! Urgent!

Hi!
Encountering serious problems when rendering over hypervue network.
When I render internally everything works fine. But when I render via hypervue I get a vertical bar, about 1/5 of width, in the middle of the picture.
This happends with "all" resolutions, rendering over ethernet or simply to rendercow in same computer.

Problem came after uppdating Vue6 to build 290396. Have manually uppdated rendercow. And they have the same build number.

First frame of 5800 is available here:

Deadline on this is saturday and I'm starting to get a little bit nervous, because of very long rendertime. I would be very happy for a solution.

Thanx,
Oz

Hi buuster72,

without having the scene it's hard to do a diagnostic, maybe it is a Vue bug, did you open a customer support ticket with e-on ? Anyway if you solve your problem but are too short on time afterward you can visit us (www.ranchcomputing.com) if you want us to render your scene for you.

Well hi!
It's the Hypervue setup. Tried other scenes aswell. Installed old version of Vue on another macpro, as well as "old" rendercows on same machine and renderers, same problem. Tried various setups, pc:s and mac:s, same problem. Still rendering fine internally, luckily.
By the way, Hypervue renders one frame without problem...It divides it into 4 tiles and the result is perfect. Sadly I've got thousands.

Summing up: problems when rendering 2 or more frames on Hypervue.

Could there be a resolution/frame problem, as the bar is between frames?

Meaning that the provided picture consist of 2 half frames with bar in between.

Thanx for the response,
Oz
