I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone is this forum  and among the other renderosity users!!
I have only been around for a couple weeks and posted my first rendering a days ago! Even got a couple complements on it even though now I see how generic and honestly quite dull it is compared to some of the amazing stuff I see here!!

Don't feel bad about it.  We all started there.  It's just a matter of practice and asking questions on how to improve.

Frustation is common amongst 3D artists, whether it's Poser, Bryce, Carrara, Vue ... doesn't matter.  We all deal with it and, one day, you'll come to welcome it as a dear friend ...

I keep my first pics around to keep me humble..;)
You've got all those stages ahead of you, from 'how do I make clothes' (not as easy as you'd think..;) to "how do I parse python scripts to mirror animation sequences in 4 dimensions? (just kidding..;).

Stop by often, ask questions. (borrows soapbox temporarily)...one thing you must remember...

there are no stupid questions ! So don't be afraid to ask.

welcome to the madhouse..;)

Nah, frustration is the light side, not the dark side.  If you're
running along smoothly without ever getting frustrated,
it means you're not learning anything new at the moment.
(Which isn't always bad!)  But frustration is when the
discoveries happen.

Welcome to the jungle Cryoc.

Couldn't agree with you more Ockham! Every time I open Poser (or Photoshop for that matter) I try and do something I haven't done before. As such, I live in a world of frustration! And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Frustration + effort = reward.

Just keep at it and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!
