Subject: yafray 009 not working???

I downloaded a win32 optimized version of 2.44 with optimized yafray but after it initializes the render ok it then crashes yafray? The older version of yafray i got working ok after long trials and errors, last night I wasted many hours trying out diffrent possibilitys but still no luck, added a path etc any body got it working?

installed the g7 version from the yafray site copied the dll to the yafray dir and now it works!

What's g7? Are you using Windows version? I'm using Windows and for me basic 0.0.9 works. I'm just curious... :)

I can get YAFRay to render, but I rarely get satisfactory results (i.e. black areas, blank image).

It is better to do one thing well, than to do many things and excel at nothing.

Thanks. I also found a post on the Blender forum for YafRay.

g7 is the pentium optimized version, i think.
