You might want to check these magazines out for source material. Also if you have Netflix, look for a movie called "Kamikaze Girls". Probably not a lot of source material here but an interesting movie regardless.Oh yeah, I have got several issues of that magazine: it's full of styling and accessoring how-tos and even has patterns for sewing up the clothes, and sometimes includes life-style tips. Manna-sama, a visual kei rock artiste from Japan, is often featured. He's typically crossed dressed as a "gozurori" in photo specials.

I have to say that when I first saw the look I was so fascinated by it that I had to do my own take on it for Aiko. I love the style. in fact the hairstyle was directly inspired by one worn by Manna in the gothic lolita bible(frankly I didnt find out that she was a he for quite a while, he is very convincing as a woman). This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. About the only styles I am interested in for my 3D females are the Japanesque Gothic-Lolita items. From the Elle magazine newsletter, I came across a new book on the fashion genre from Japan. It is published by Phaidon press and it may be of interest to those creating the look for female ( and cross-dressing male ) 3D figures:
