Subject: INJ Morphs

I know this question has probably been asked  many times but is it possible to INJ Morphs that belong to a particular model into another one that it wasn't intended for?  For example if I wanted to INJ the Morphs that belong to the MIL Baby 3 into the preschooler Matt, is this possible?  There are so many good morphs in the MIL Baby 3 that Matt doesn't have.  Is there a program I need to get?  Thanks.

You could try morph manager.  Last week Acadia posted this link for it:

To use it, make sure that you have injected the morphs you want to transfer into the original character, then save that character into the library.  Then run morph manager with the original character with the morph loaded on the left and the character you want to transfer the morphs to on the right.

If the deltas match you can INJ into another character.  One of the nicest things about the DAZ characters, with the exception of Aiko and Hiro, the deltas of the characters are the same.

My suggestion is give it a go ... if it doesn't work there's no great loss.  You don't need any additional programs.

No... The mesh of the Freak and M3 are cut the same way. All other DAZ generation 3 figures (including Aiko 3 and Hiro) are cut the same way (A3 and H3 just have additional material zones). So all morphs for those (excluding M3 and the freak) work on all the other characters. And M3 morphs work on the freak. It's also possible to change the grouping of M3 and the freak to use morphs of the other characters, but that's another story. And you can't inject into any character in Poser if the morph channels to inject aren't there. Then you you need to use programs like morph manager to move the morphs from one DAZ gen 3 character to the other, as just injecting doesn't work.

hello ,
i join this thread to ask another question. i've tried with morphmanager to transfer a freak's head morph (from an already inj figure) to a very different figure like the girl . it didn't work .

how could i do ? is it too much different to be ok ?

(i've done a test from freak inj to freak blank and it worked.)

frackzdraf: The girl is a complete different mesh. It's not one of the daz generation 3 unimeshes. So morphs can't be transfered between them. It's like with a clothing item, the morphs from the figure wearing the clothing cannot be transfered, as the mesh of the clothing item is completely different from the figure.
