Subject: Nymph dress

I purchased the wonderful Teagan and nymph dress and just love it.  I am struggeling to render the dress to be transparent and suspect is has something to do with my lighting, since I am only just starting with Poser and do not know nearly enough yet.  Can anybody help me to solve the problem, please?

Can you post a screenshot of your material room setup for the dress?

If you don't know how to post a screenshot, do the following:

  1. Go to the material room
  2. Press "Print Screen" on your keyboard;
  3. Open your graphic program;
  4. Do whatever you need to do to paste the clipboard. In Paint Shop Pro that is "Edit" and "Paste as a new image";
    5.  Crop and resize and save the image;
  5. Come back here and make your post and use the "attach a file" area below the reply box to browse to the screenshot. The image will show up when you click "post reply".

If you need to attach more than one image, you will have to make a second post.

If you have a hosting site, you  can upload images to there and then post as many pictures as you like in one post. Use the little yellow icon in the reply box window to enter the link to the image directly into the typing area of the reply window.  Rinse and repeat that as many times as you have images to add.

Hi.  Attached is the file as requested.  It took a while because Poser does not want to run with any other programs on my system.  I believe I have way to little memory.

can you attach a copy of the whole material room setup?  That poser surface isn't really showing anything. It looks like it might be a "preview" which doesn't have any other nodes attached to it.

If you look at the top of the working window where you find the Poser Surface window as you posted above, you will see 2 drop down menus.

Can you make sure that the dress is selected in the left side drop down, and that you have the main dress part selected in the right one.

Then post a screenshot of the whole room.  It's important to see what portion of the outfit is being shown and any nodes that are used for the texture.
