Subject: painting ecosystems query

FrankT ( ) posted Thu, 14 June 2007 at 3:54 PM · edited Wed, 27 November 2024 at 3:02 PM

If I have a building with a balcony but I want to paint an ecosystem along the base of the wall where it meets the ground, is there an easy way of doing it ?

If I paint in the topdown view, I'm going to get plants on the balcony not the floor

Any ideas ?

Frank

Paint them on a plane and then move them to where you want them under the balcony. :)

Or rotate the building, then paint the items on the walls and rotate that back then.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

You can also use layers. You can place the building in a layer of its own, the ground under the balcony in another. Hide the layer with the building and paint the ground in the top view.
