Since I started this thread Thought I might throw in a couple of my renders in. Obivously the lighting is different and background. I like the way vue rendered better, but it basicaly took the computer over

External Binary Morphs were intended to be used as a mechanism for people to distribue morph targets independent of the main Poser file.  Instead, they've cause nothing but heartache, particularly for new users.  My advise, never use them.  You were exactly right to turn off external morph targets in Poser.

Glad to see your latest issue was resolved! :)
So now you see you don't need to condamn Vue too quickly. It indeed HAS issue, but it's really a great piece of software!!!  ;)

**vincebagna, where did you find a Fur map for the Milcat?

TIA
Mike**

Attached Link: RDNA P5 Fur materials

mikebres - it comes with a free fur material pack from RDNA. By the way, you could find other packs at the same freebie section, others under Freestuff, Download, P6 Freebies.

Ok, stupid question, but how do you use the poser shader tree for the clothes and Vue for the skin? Do you import them as seperate files? If so, how do you line them up?

You just have to save your pz3 as usual. Then import it into Vue and tick "using Poser shader tree". For each material you want to handle with Vue internal shader, you turn them into "single material" to disconnect them to the Poser shader tree. So you'll see the material thumbnail for the Vue shader, and the Poser thumb for the Poser ones. ;)

vincebagna - I'm impressed with what you've done with the node settings & the edge blend. After seeing the results from you & dburdick I think I'm going to have to look into it to further my renders. This has been a very interesting read.
