What is the correct way to open an animation on ps cs3 to see all layers? thanx.

in OS X, File menu/ Import/Video frames to layers ... navigate to file range to import - from beginning to end (e.g.) make frame animation hit "O.K." it might be different in vista.

i want to open a gif animation
file/import/video frames to layers... only gives me mov, avi, mpg, mpeg ext options.

yeah, gif is greyed out in mine, too. I hadda convert to mov in QT. perhaps there's some other way to import gifanimation directly. but then it's a bad idea to edit anything but uncompressed video frames in CS3 IMVHO. gif is reduced-colour and all jagged.

"perhaps there's some other way to import gifanimation directly."

I hope so it would make things a lot easier.

Has Fireworks finally replaced imageready in CS3 ? That would be the best tool for the job!
