I decided the lawn work could wait. Let's call it "Visionquest Gone Bad." The image was rendered in Bryce, with the obvious exception of the photoshop layer erasure which enables the city to be seen... hope that squares with the rules. Thanks to toddo for the plains indian figure!

Very good, I like it. Dont know about the rules on post render stuff but we all do that so your photoshop trick is fine with me. Heck, I'll have to try that some time.

the jet approaching the hole reminds me of Stephen Kings, The Langoliers. I hope they are sleeping on that jet. I would have added a little Gaussian blur to the characters in the forground to give the scene a little more depth, but nice job. Heck you can still do I suppose.

Interesting concept and nicely done. Last I heard, there was no restriction on post-work as long as the main scene rendering was done in Bryce.

Thanks for the kind words and helpful comments. I don't imagine I'm the first to say that this is a wonderful medium we're working in, that we can receive comments and apply them to the same work.
