At the bottom of your screen, you have the "display style" option, just turn in the way you could see your prop.
What you're experiencing is the clothing and hair with a transmap applied. If you are in smooth display mode, they will often "disapear" from view until rendered.
You can either change the display options for the whole document, or select the clothing or hair item, go to the Display menu and change the display type for that figure or element (depending on if it's conforming or a prop)

This is common. Go to the material room, select the item that is invisible, then move look in the poser surface window for the transparency dial. Move the dial value back and forth and the item should reappear. Put the value back to what it was.

When I load the cloths 'figure' all is OK, but when I apply MATS to the cloths there dissappear in the preview, but render OK, so they are still there. This also happens on certain hair to. Is there anyway to keep them visable in the preview screen?
Many Thanks
