Subject: Curvy3D tutorials

Now that I have Curvy3D (included free on issue #89 of 3DWorld) - can anyone recommend any tutorials for ver 1.0. The Curvy3D homepage has too many broken links to be useful.

I did read the Curvy3D tech link here (Curvy3D to Hexagon to Vue)

Thanks

Kenmo

Ditto, got it the same way (magazine add-on), already made several Poser 7 props, but need to know how to gain better control over the object during its creation inside of Curvy3D.

Looks like an awesome tool and the price was right but tutorials certainly are lacking...

Anyone?

[sarcasm on] Thanks...i's so nice to know people are so willing to share...[/sarcasm off]

...and now I know why this forum is so inactive... People just are not willing to share....

Well, since I'm also curious about how to use this software, I could be checking out these tutorials here.

Thanks kindly for the response... I mentioned those links in my first post... However all the links appear to be broken or down...

I've always believed people here like to share ideas, tips and tutorials...whenever I find something of interest I always post a link to it here... at Renderosity....

By the "overwhelming" response to my simple request, I guess I've been wrong and maybe this site is not the place for me... I guess we are not a big happy family & friends of hobbyists and artists but rather we are in competition with one another and to share a tutorial or a link is asking too much....

In future I'll refrain from asking for any assistance...

Thanks all

Kenmo

Takes time for 3D World to get to the southern Hemishere so we're a few issues behind.
What does Curvy actually do?

Cheers...

Here's a link to a workflow tut that includes Curvy3d, Hexagon and Vue.  I came across this at 3dcommune.com

Hope it helps?  :)

Sorry...but the Curvy3D site still has broken links. And your first  link appears to have nothing to do with Curvy....

I dont usually frequent this forum so never saw your post. Perhaps if you ask on the official curvy3d forums somebody could hel you with any issues or tips that may help.

I know that I check the forums every day and have seen nothing from anybody with regard to questions. Monsoon who did the Curvy tech tutorial always lurks on the curvy forums. Ask him and he should be able to answer. (Just checked and that tutorial is on the forum direct.)
http://www.curvy3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1733
http://www.curvy3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1659

and one I did a long time ago.

Also the user guide should help as well. Any questions go to the main curvy forum and ask.
