You can set up a directory at your website to store the free stuff (mine is called freebies) and then create a page with thumbnails that link to the zip files. If you need help with that, PM me and I'll send you some html or php code.

You can just upload the files to ur public html folder. Preferably make a directory structure for it to neatly organize it. Then just make a hyperlink to the file! If the browser wont recognize the file as something it can display, it'll automatically become a download!

There's actually a place or two that's set up for hosting 3D file content (not sure about Bryce .obp though, but common formats such as .3ds or .obj is a yes.), so you could even save your own bandwidth/filespace and have linking from your site to the hosted files elsewhere. Some may even pay you for directed traffic. Now if only I could remember... Anyhow, I'm sure someone else will bring up the details.

Also feel free to browse my freebies at ShareCG.
There might be something worth downloading.
You can link to files hosted at ShareCG.com - they pay you every time someone downloads (actually everytime someone even LOOKS at the download page).

Thanks Fran for the link. I decided that was the best option in the end. Thankyou everyone else for the feedback.

Oh so that's why I've suddenly got two nice new models. Just collected the cargo ship and the building - lovely thanks. Using them now.

Yup - had it 3 months now, but last month was disappointing in terms of revenue, not too sure exactly why, despite their explanations. But they say they are working hard to get big revenue payers - i.e. advertisers... well... we'll see.

I want to expand my website to provide some free downloads for people. I'm not sure how to set this up. Would it be that the file is stored in my public ftp file with my webhost and then hyperlink to this address from my site?
