Subject: make imported stuff local.

After importing certain stuff. i was wondering how to make the imported stuff local. I got a hint that i had to make the imported stuff local.

After importing the file, save it as a .blend file. Simple as that. 

It is better to do one thing well, than to do many things and excel at nothing.

No, not as simple as that, that saves the scene with references to the obj / 3ds if they're in a usable path. Select the stuff in object mode and then go to Object-> Make Local -> and select the option you want to do (selected object / all etc)

Thank you gog. That is what could be that made my file all messy when trying to export it to indigo.
