My husband wants to post this picture of the naughty palm tree for him.  He has his own gallery, but it is naughty.  What is the correct way to post this one?

check your e mail Carol.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Make sure the file is 8bit jpeg or gif and is no larger than 200kb.

I don't understand the 8bit thing.  Why only 200kb when we are allowed 500 in the fractal gallery?  Sorry, I do have a habit of asking questions.  Not trying to be troublesome.  heh heh heh q-:

200kb for Forum uploads, 500kb for gallery uploads. 8bit refers to the color space of the photo. If you photographed the image as a jpeg it should already be in 8bit, unless you changed it along the way.

Recently TwoPynts gave this interesting hint,

200kb for Forum uploads, 500kb for gallery uploads.

On the gallery upload form, the file limits and image limits (pixels) are
explicitly stated directly under the corresponding file name field(s). 

Perhaps the web form for a new forum thread and also for adding a
reply to a forum thread should have that kind of annotation as well.

That looks fine to me....and indeed very humerous.....

lol, I'm glad you enjoyed the pic.  I'll post it for my honey a little later today.  At least now you know why I had to be sure.  (:  Hilarious, and we drive by it all the time, because it is right down the street and around the corner.
