Subject: Walking Animation

I have been working on a walking animation in poser. I can not use the standard walking animations for what I need. I am trying to create a walking animation in a fighting pose. I am working on a Steet fighter style game. I have been unable to find anything in the market place.

Are there animations for this or some other way of making what I need?

I have created SOMETHING but it just doesn't look realstic at all.

Thank you for your  time. =)

I'm not too experienced in this cos I'm only just starting up P7. But you might want to do a google search for 'BVH Files' There are a few sites offering free downloads, one of them had a number of fight stances and animations. If they're not made specifically for Poser you will probably have to tweak the model's skeleton structure, but this may prove easier than animating from scratch. Hope you get a solution. Good luck.

Hey mon, If you up to creating animations from scratch check out Phil Cooke's "Rotoscoper": http://istore.mikrotec.com/philc/index1.html?page=catalog&category=a&vid=2080245373&pid=924839477&oldvid=2143420604 Also, Daz Studio may offer other animation options that you might find useful - worth a look-see. later jdc

P7's layers may help you here. Put a Walk designer walk on the base layer than add a layer above and apply the fight pose. Delete the keys for the legs from the pose layer so the walk will show through.

Be careful in layer animation. There are still some ugly bugs in there. Save well an often.

If you are working with non-stock figures I have some walk designer addons for other figures.

Yeah I was having the same problem, the answer is in the poser manual.
