Sorry folks for not being around much these three weeks. Got a new job where I no longer telecommute. Can't get to the forums much until I get home or the weekends. Until things settle for me I'll probably not be doing much uploading, which is too bad since there's several renders nearly ready for upload.

I'm going to start telecommuting in about 3 months, once I get my final medical clearance for work.  That will be wonderful because I won't have a 35 mile each way commute to work any more and with gas prices the way they are here that will save me a ton!

I used to have a 75-mile (each way) commute for a daily total of 150 miles -- took three hours out of my day, and I'd have to fill up at least twice a week. Cost me $150 a month back then, even with a fuel-efficient Toyota. Can't imagine what it would cost me if I was still doing that drive these days. I'm a freelancer now, so I work at home. The only driving I do now is for weekly errands and an occasional night out. Maybe a total 30 miles a week? LOVE IT.

I kind of wish I still had my '93 Toyota but now I drive a 2005 Dodge Durango V8 so I don't get the great mileage I used to.  I love my Durango, though, for when I go grocery shopping or have to run the grandbabies around.  I even have a rocket seat for the 3-yr old in the back seat with the 3rd seat down for space.

I only telecommute rarely. If I could do it consistently, they'd give my job to someone in South Asia...

I used to telecommute a couple of days per week, but alas a change of boss and it's gone :(
