THere is a utility called the uvmapper that you can use to make a copy of the mesh and color on that, too. I forget the link for it, but, that is the way I have always done it. It works real well for transmaps. It's free...try looking in freestuff, utilities. Otherwise, would someone be kind enough to send the link?

Hello all, I have been trying to figure out how to make textures, transmaps, ect...for everything from t-shirts to poser figures, but I am a little stuck. I was wondering where I would get the basic mat or shape of the object i want to work on. An example would be a poser person. Where do I get that flattened out template of a person, so I can go nuts and paint on it to make a texture? Sorry if this question has been asked before. I looked through the tutorials and only found 1 item that almost helps...but it still tells me to load the file I want to work on. I don't know how to find this file. Is there a default dir in poser that stores templates or something? Thank you all, -_Eryk
