Subject: change rotation axes

cortic ( ) posted Tue, 10 July 2007 at 5:11 AM · edited Mon, 20 January 2025 at 7:30 PM

very simple question, I have a swing, as an object it rotates half way up the rope if I increase its y-size I can put the center of it (rotation axes) at the bar and use rotate X which makes the swing swing, however that means there is rope going off into space so; how can I change the rotation axes of this object in poser so it rotates from the end of the ropes?

thanks, also big thanks to all who helped me with my CPU problem (pjz99 and everyone else), I felt I was starting to go round in circles with it.

Use the joint editor to move the center point to the end of the rope. It's the same procedure for props and for joint parameter setting on figures.
