You can't just use any photo you like, you must get permission, I think it should be up to you to do the asking, I doubt if everyone will come to you... Just an idea... Doesn't hurt to ask... Akemi

Yes Akemi said it right. You have to approach the person  and ask for permission also good idea to explane what project you use it for. Make it a bit friendly.

Ok im using the photo's for a christian conference introduction in Japan.  It theme is thing we are thankful for.  Mainly including pictures of nature.  I was hoping not to have to ask each person indiviually because that would take forever and a day.  Which is why im doing this.  So if ppl have a problem with ppl seeing their work even though they will be getting credit to let me know... b/c copyright law state that aslong as im giving u credit its kool... or atleast that is my understanding

Dear borg28...it is not a question if some ppl like to see its own work somewhere else put it to the good use or not.  We had some serious issue with stolen photograps in a not too distant past. I am not addressing you neither accusing. But ppl are very edgy at a moment about somebody using they hard taken photographs without asking.  I am sure they would be more than happy to lend their work but need to asking so they know about it.

please understand this and I think one day work would be so fair towards them.
