Oh, you poor man! No-ones commented on it yet! At least I can stop worrying about MY sanity! LOL. Seriously though, the disjointedness (is that the word I want to use?) makes it appealling. appalling? no, appealling.(sp?!?). (Disjointedness meant in good sense not negative, before you send your minions of hell to haunt my dreams) ;p
Is it that disjointed? Oh well at least I got the smooth thing taken care of. Thanks for the critique. Believe it or not I could not tell that there was the jet black border around him. I think the problem. If it is a problem. Stems from my moniter. Besides or dying it is also smaller than what the rest of you use. As a result I can't see the entire picture unless I reduce the size. Then it is too small. Wait a second can't I just view it full screen an fit it to the size of my screen. Boy. Look at that the 'ol brain is still working. By the way insane is how I felt when I took the picture of that yellow tube wrapped around my head! Bsteph
Jordyart - ( Now I know the real reason you changed you name it's easier to type! ) =:-) > LOL. Really it's not a sad story! I just felt, and I'm being serious, that most of the others whao post here have larger monitors. I'm sure whatever Alpha, Jack, and Gwentiger uses is at least 1 meter tall! My point was. When one has a smaller moniter it becomes tedious, very distracting, and difficult with the scrolling back and forth to see the entire image. See I can be absolutely serious. I haven't made one joke. ok, maybe a small exageration. By the way in which way was this disjointed? And was the picture too dense visualy? Bsteph
Ok, maybe disjointed wasn't the right word, but we're Dictionarically Encumbered up here! I like it, don't get me wrong, but even though the guy is a focal point I feel my eyes flicking across from one thing to another....especially to that strong white shirt and the ...erm...tubes around your head? Hmm...ever thought of being a politician?! I believe they go for things like that! (Oh, no, it was a carrier bag & an orange, wasn't it? silly me!)
Now you have to tell me shat happened!! I sound's halliarous. Yeah I used tubes. I wanted to use rope. In particular yellow rope because it could be seen better. BUT just that night I had thrown aways my yellow rope scaps. So I figured tubes would work just as good. Perhaps better because they looked so strange wither that or humorous. The shirt I adjusted verry little. Just enough to give the impression that he was there with his captor. Or is it a prior version of himself. Perhaps next time I'll make the shirt more grungy looking; good point. I admit I did want to have a little more fun with things this time. I understood what you and Alpha were saying. I just didn't understand how distracting the other stuff was. I wanted a image where one would look at it a couple of times and each time find a new thing they didn't notice earlier or experience a new emotion. Oh well back to the drawing board. What else kept you eyes moving?
Sorry about the delay in answering here - my excuse sits in another thread! The main thing that drags my eye away is the motion blur of the right-hand side background. If that was static, I think you would get the chance to scan the rest of the image mentally. (Dunno, but maybe it's got something to do with our eyes automatically being drawn to moving ojects? Gawd, that's me thinking too hard!) Mike.
