Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
The Micro Rounds are smaller round plains, the Macro are larger. Both can be used for a variety of things. You'll need to inject the injection morphs into them to make terrains, ie, mountains, craters, hills etc. I think RDNA still has a "small places" package for free for use with the micro planes.
As an example, you can use morphs or displacement on the planes, square or round to create bodies of water. The Macro would be good for the sea or ocean, stretching out to the horizon, the micro for a pond or lake.
Hope that helps.
Hi there,
There's a pretty extensive pdf file incuded with the set which also icludes a simple quick start overview. Traveler put together some great tutorials (also included in the pdf). They don't take much of time and should give a headstart as to using MicroCosm and it's morphs.

I had the kit before they were offered in Poser, so I forget what comes with the kit, or what comes with Poser, I'm not sure any morphs were included...
Here is a link to some MicroCosm freebies. On the second page is a free morph set, on the third a tutorial that will give you an overview of how the system was designed to be used. Plus plenty of free materials.

What are the Macro and Micro rounds in Poser 7 (props) and how would you use them?
Thank you
