Subject: V4 Clothing Morphs

Is there any way to disable the auto morphing on auto morphing V4 clothing? Most times I'd rather fit the clothing using the morph dials, but the auto morphing seems to disable the dials.

Try loading the clothing item first, then the figure.  Or you could save the clothing item back to the library, but use a different name so as not to overwrite the original.

This had bugged me as well!   But on a quick test both your suggestions seem to work, Kirwyn, so thanks.

Hmm. A straightforward workaround for another of the "Things I Hate About V4". If this continues I'll end up liking her!

An update after a little more testing.

Resaving the clothing does work, BUT only if you load it into a "clean" scene. If you have V4 in the scene, even if you delete her before you resave the clothing, it doesn't seem to work. At least, this is what I have found with the V4 MFD and the Selene dress.

Kirwyn, thank you. That helps.

I have to admit I find this super annoying.  I have a pre-morphed V4 character, pick up a new piece of clothing, and can't make it fit because the FBM's are all turned off.  So if I want to morph it, I have to morph each individual body part.  The new Vampire set from DAZ was probably the most disappointing because it won't even fit a normal unmorphed V4.  It only fits using the special V4 morphs you have to inject to make the outfit work.  Not the versatility I've come to expect from DAZ products.  Other than that, it's a great set.
