Subject: Heads up on 3D World's later issue (93)

There is a Poser Content Pack on the included CD. Where I'm at, 3D World goes for $15.99

Here' what's on this Pack:
RuntimeDNA's Poser Indoor Creation Kit., which normally does for $19.96.  www.runtimedna.com/mod/bcs/index.php

G2 Casual Suit. www.runtimedna.com/mod/bcs/index.php Normally $19.95

BarBar00 character for LaRoo 2 LE which normally goes for $14.94.
(LaRoo 2 LE comes with Poser 6)
www.runtimedna.com/mod/bcs/index.php

Syyd Texture Sets for LaRoo 2, Miki 1 and V4

Celestial Summoning for A3 (normally $12.95)
www.runtimedna.com/mod/bcs/index.php

Two Pretty3D outfits for V3 (sexy policewoman and pirate lady)

Dearpath outdoor props. bunch of carrotsand an outrigger canoe.

I particularly like the idea of the Poser Indoor Creation Kit.  Anything that's generative saves me from buying a whole bunch of other specialized stuff.  In that regard, I have also taken advantage of PhilC's bundle of clothingDesigner, scissortool, and OB@CR2 converter. I figure I'll eventually get skilled enough to use them.

Dang, I missed it! Issue 94 is out in the UK now... :crying: Edited to add - maybe not too bad, there is Poser content on the new CD. Don't know what it is yet. Oh, and Bryce 5.5 if anyone wants it but hasn't got a good enough connection for the download. "On the CD Bryce 5.5 (full version, PC/Mac); ZBrush video training; metal textures from ImageAfter; Poser content from e-frontier, RuntimeDNA and Vanishing Point"

P.I.C.K. is awesome. Easy to set up and use, the material application can be a bit tedious, but i like it.

and i just asked, there are more expansion sets in the make for it and more planned.

3Dsmacker ~ Thanks for the info!
EnglishBob ~ I think I may have missed this issue also!  If it's not too much trouble, would you be able to post what Poser stuff is included with issue 94?  That's the August issue right?

Issue 93 is the August issue - 94 is September (don't ask, I worked for a magazine once and I still don't understand why they need to get so far ahead of themselves). Here's the stuff which may be of interest to Poser users: Bryce 5.5 full version, on-line registration required AC3D 6.2, 14 day trial, 33% off full version Image*after metal textures Bolt and Robo-Dog from e-frontier's Anibots series Lycantar Alternating Robot (transforming dog robot) Koshini, Ichiro and Rufus by Lady Littlefox Anya for Miki by RDNA A3 Elven Adventure clothing set by RDNA Dynamic Heart Poncho LaGhoul clothing set for LaRoo Nighty Night clothing for Rufus

3Dsmacker - apologies for hijacking your thread with stuff about the next issue... 😊

*(don't ask, I worked for a magazine once and I still don't understand why they need to get so far ahead of themselves)

*Actually, as a former journalism instructor, I can explain: You need to have your content ready to go a minimum of 90 days ahead of publication release because of printing and distribution time.  It can take six months to set up an editorial board for a single issue, pick the articles, have the contracts ready and signed, get the articles, have them edited and corrected, notify the writers about corrections (and this can turn into a major legal battle depending on the writer), get all the finished copy ready for galley proofs, proofread, print, and then distribute.

It's an incredible amount of work, actually.  Doesn't pay well either much of the time.

Now I just wish I could get ahold of 3D World on a regular basis.  My budget, being non-existant, makes living in the middle of nowhere inconvenient for subscriptions.

No problem Bob. You've just given me a heads up on the issue that hasn't gotten here yet!   BTW, 3D World has a section on its website for ordering back issues. You might still be able to get issue 93.

Oh well, I haven't got 93 nor 94 so I should go take a look.
