Hi all,

Is there exist a tool for creating clothes (static or dynamic) for V3 or V4?

Thanks in advance.

You need a modelling program.

Hexagon
3D Max
Carrera
Wings3D

Or any number of others. Hexagon was on sale at Daz, not sure if it still is.  And there are some free modelling programs. Not sure if Carrera is one or not.

Be warned that it's not easy and takes lots of practice and has a steep learning curve. So don't go into it thinking that you'll be pumping out clothing the day you get a program.

I have a list, since it's asked so many times.
They are all freebies; because i would recommend you give it try before spending money on it. Might not be your cup of tea.
http://www.blender.org/ - A fully featured model/render/postwork application with many features and a large number of available plug-ins and script add-ons. Can do everything, just about, and has some really solid free advanced renderers too.
http://www.wings3d.com - Wings3D, A polygon subdivision modeller.
http://www.anim8or.com/ - Anim8or, a modelling and animation tool.
http://www.metaseq.net/english/index.html - Metasequioa LE, Poly sub-d modeller.
http://homepage3.nifty.com/escargot/ - MarbleClay, A hierarchical poly sub-d modeller
http://www.caligari.com/Products/trueSpace/tS3/resources/default.html - TrueSpace 3.2, An older (but still solid) free version of the popular 3d modelling tool.
http://www.cbmodelpro.com - CBModel Pro, A non-linear mesh sculpting tool.

Thank you for your reply.

Did anyone try Clothing Designer Bundle by PhilC Designs Ltd?

Is it a must-have tool for Poser?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure Phil C will not be upset at my saying that the only way to make really top quality clothing is to model it from scratch in a modelling program.
Having said that, the clothing designer bundle offers a very good shortcut for those of us who lack the skill and/or time to create from scratch. Even for clothing made in another application I tend to use the obj-to-Cr2 converter to make conforming clothing - that is a real time saver!  So I would say that although not a must-have, I certainly do not regret buying the bundle.

An alternative starting point would be to try something like the (free) morphography quick suits for M3 and V3. You can import the meshes into a modelling program to complete them, and you would probably find a UV mapping program (UV mapper, either the free "classic" version or the pay-for pro version) useful. Again this approach will not instantly produce top quality clothing, but will give you a starting point.

Making Poser clothing is neither easy nor straight-forward, so be prepared for frequent set-backs and frustrations.  Good luck!

How about "Clother"?

How does it compare with "Clothing Design Bundle"?

Thanks in advance
