HI
I just tried to apply the morphing gift certificate to a purchase, and I get an error message.
Sorry, that gift certificate code is not valid or has expired. Please check your entry.
The system time on the page says 11:47pm, and the gift certificate is supposed to be valid until
Tuesday, July 31st, 2007, at 11:59pm
so I should have a good 10 minutes to use it.  What could be the problem?

Same problem, was supposed to expire at 23:59:59, but it seems they mistakenly entered 23:23:59 as the expiration when they set them up. :(

Glad to see I'm not the only one, hopefully they will be able to help us out tomorrow.

As soon as the eCheck clear with PayPal (which is expected to clear August 6)  I will mark the order as paid and credit $5.00 back to your PayPal account.

August 6?  It's already been debited from my bank - I've never seen any delay of more than minutes when using PayPal - is there some problem between PayPal and Renderosity?
This is not a gripe, mind you, I'm just surprised, as I've used PayPal on dozens of sites and never encountered such a delay.  I've seen sites stop using PayPal, but not this.  If this is an ongoing problem between RMP & PP, I guess I'll just use a Visa or MC in the future, or is the problem with my account? - I know I haven't ordered anything from RMP since last October, is my account on some kind of re-verification status?  I've bought over 600 products here in the past, if I recall correctly.
Just asking so I know where things stand.

Hello,

Echeck is something that happens on paypal's end and we have no way of
controlling that so I was not aware it wouldn't be an "instant" payment.
There are several reasons that when you send money from paypal and it sends
in the form of an "echeck" instead of an "instant" payment like one example
is  because the credit card associated with your paypal account didn't
process correctly when paypal tried to bill the card so paypal then uses the
bank account associated with your paypal account to send the money in the
form of an echeck. Or if there is no credit card tied to your paypal account
and only a bank account then an echeck is used.

Just wanted to make sure you understand that the delay is not caused on our
end, but Paypal's echeck method associated with your paypal account. 99.5%
of all paypal payments come through as an "instant" payment and we have no
control over the "echeck" method that paypal uses.

Thanks
