Congrats Barbara, a great addition to strengthen the photography team :)
And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Well Done Barbs, good to have someone objective and who isn't in the buddy system on the team.
Don't cross over to the dark side while during your time ;)

Congratulations - another excellent choice for our team of staff here.

Not yet one month and now Barbara has decided to resign from Rendo... see the link to her homepage !what a haemorrhage ! (after Ilona, Klaus,...)
Very sad news...

brighter, once you remove the lens

I'm at a loss for words - so many good people (not to mention brilliant photographers!) are leaving or have gone AWOL since I became active around here in January.
I know that this is the same in life and everywhere, but there seems to be so much unrest around here lately - it sometimes leaves a bitter taste on the palette.
I am saddened at the loss of Barbara - as a photographer and new member of our team of admins/mods/co-ords - we seem to be going to the dogs and that is a crying shame.
Everyone seems to have lost their "oomph" - I know I feel like that a lot recently.... we need to see some fun and camaraderie around here..... come back Rich (Inshaala) and Joe (Nattarious) and Klaus and Ilona and Jim (Nameless_Wildness) to mention just a few that I can recall!

I happy for you itsumama
as for people they come and go for many reason. no one failer; it just happens. I here because I do not let stuff bother me. I got into three wars here and saw a lot of stuff too. It up to the person to pick up they marbles and go home. I choose to stay and choose to be happy. Do not let bitter rule the heart; let laughter rule. For laughter is good medisun
what you see is not what you know; it in your face
I went to her website and saw some of her photographs. She is very talented.
I understand that if you want to, or have to, live from your sellings, you try to protect your work. But on the other hand, I also think that many more people will visit renderosity that a personal website. And there may always be some buyers, collectioners even, or at least friends amongst those. Same goes for Google. Via Google, people will get to her site.
If you don't add a specific line to your page googlebot will always show your images. That's the Internet. There are other sites that are far worse, sites that simply take over the rights of your work the moment you upload something on them.
There are no Borg. All
resistance is fertile.
