Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Indeed it is...sigh..what can y do eh?...we get good tips but gotta put up with a bit of static . Not my tute but as a lotta folks don't regularily surf the tutes section I, as a regular approver there, decieded it would be a community oriented thang to post in relative forums when a really good one shows up.. ...

A good idea to post the tutorial link here and anything to do with Andrzej Dragan is going to be interesting. He's a real life Buckaroo Banzai!

Clicked the link, got the page and then a drive-cleaner popup. DC is medium risk kind of virus. Very annoying. Ctrl-Alt-Del it away, but now I'm forced to do a full scan with system restore off.

Beware of this link!

Strange...I approved this tute and got none of that...just tried it now and got nothing like that either...maybe it's already resident on your box from some other surf and just activated when you went to this link. Will get the tech folks to check this out though.. ...

Mine was virus-free as well - that bites - sorry Tanchelyn.

As it turns another Mod did some checks and it turned out to be a cookie problem but if you run Spybot SD it finds the cookie and gets rid of it and then protects from that in the future. I run that every morning so I have never had a problem with that. I'd advise using Spybot SD anyway if you do any amount of surfing. It's perma free and very good with regular updates but you have to check for them.. ...

Hey, no problem. Thanks all for the concern.
As I ctrl-alt-del, nothing happened.
But it did close the page with the tutorial, and that window popped up. So I did want to warn, and do a scan to be shure.
I use Panda since I had a similar attack months ago. S&D found 13 entries then. But as my free Avast scanner hadn't done its job, I bought Panda (again) and it not only found loads of spyware, but also two potential, viruses on freeware I hadn't installed. Now it kills spies the moment they try to cookie me.

Thanks again.
