Subject: V4 Pureskins - Missing Textures

mugahaze ( ) posted Sat, 11 August 2007 at 7:01 AM · edited Fri, 24 January 2025 at 12:49 AM

Jpg files appear to be missing from the downloaded Pureskins 1 and 2 from MaskEdit. I downloaded then placed the files into Poser Runtime. I am using an Imac G5. When I selected a skin to apply to V4 a window opened asking for me to locate "MskMouth.jpg". Once the skin was loaded the torso of V4 was white. I have tried the skins in both Pureskins1 and 2 and each has texture files missing. I am new to Renderosity - is this the right place to ask the question? The Read me of the Pursekins gave a URL to check on installation in Poser - but it didn't open a web page. Perhaps there is a further element in applying the skin I am unaware of. However, the files are missing from the download. Suggestions please?

Hi mugahaze,

You might try posting this question in the Marketplace Support Forum. They usually are very quick to respond.

Also...contact the vendor. That's the first thing you'll be told by the marketing admins, anyways.

By any chance, did you check the texture folder?? You never mentioned that.

is it possible the default skin has to be applied by use of the material room ?
A lot of textures are now doing that instead of through the regular method.

i have #1..I'll check

OH...THERE ARE ALSO 2 FILES...did you install them both????
In #1, the mskmouth.jpg file is in the 2nd folder

Sorry for not responding. I took the hint of the first reply and posted my question on the market forum. I got an answer - there are 2 separate files. So I sorted it out. Thanks
