Guess this is like the old Xerox/photocopy syndrome...I figger Adobe [sorry I have no idea where a R in a circle lives on my keyboard] will just have to get used to it. When I discovered Canon made a more versatile copier for artistic manipulation and had better blacks I started referring to my work as canon-ized....they never complained but then that never became the same phenom.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

There's the hoover / vaccuum cleaner one.

Personally I'd rather say 'I photoshopped someone' then 'I GIMPed someone', even though the latter is more likely to be true :)

Looks like a case of a corporation taking itself to seriously.  Mind you I suspose they all do eventually.

TwoPynts ( ) posted Mon, 20 August 2007 at 1:39 PM

Yes, they do. I remember when Google® said not to use their name as a verb. I'm a big copyright lawbreaker in that case I'm afraid.

Margana, I have not checked...maybe Bigfoot is also a copyright thing...still blurry critters.

Margana ( ) posted Mon, 20 August 2007 at 5:45 PM

Yeah...I should probably add a TM thingy. Someone probably owns the right to his blurry @#$ image. LOL.

Radfalx, thanks for the location of the characters/symbols thing. I was using character codes which sometimes worked and sometimes did not.  I had not noticed the little box at the right of the menu.

I sir, am grateful...searching ®Microsoft(can't fine "trademark" or the numerical code for that to put with ms) I am quite pleased to see most of the characters here on the site.   This post ©2007TomDart.
