this pic is also in the 2dgallery. what do you think about? do you like angels? :) lars

Is this a really large angel or a rather small one? The perspective in this is unusual, it's hard to tell whether it's really big or small. I like that effect! :-) And welcome to us, Lars!

hi to you! :)=) marshmallopie its really a big angel on a graveyard. think 2 metres tall. the effect is added in Micrografx Piture Publisher.

Really. Wow. I took one look and thought the graves didn't look real. So I figured small perhaps 9cm's. Boy was I wrong. How did you achieve the amberish tint? Bsteph

bsteph2069 what means amberish tint? i dont understand these words. can you describe it in simple words to me? thanx, :) lars

i like angels and this picture, especially in your use of the depth of field to bring in the angel sharp and the fore and background blurred. a very nice work.

Hi Lars! Great pic! Lol - I think there must be something psychologically imbalancing about photography that makes us all go through the 'graveyard' phase! I know I had mine a couple of weeks ago but haven't had the chance to throw some images together properly yet!

I really thought this was a tiny little statue too - it's actually 2m tall?? Amazing.

this is the original photo. how you can see there was not much postwork but the simple blur-effect. if you want to see the original photos from my other pics just send a message or mail me. thanx for your comments! btw, can somebody explain to me? dont understand the meaning of these words. thanx, :) lars

Hi Slaanesh, I used the work "amberish tint" because to me that was the color which seemed to presominate the darker areas. Amber is a shade of medium to dark orange yellow color. Tint is well a shade of color. I used the color amber I probably should have used instead redish-orange. So I should have asked how did you achieve the redish-orange tint. But I can now see that slight brown tint is present in the original photo. Thanks for posting this. It's quite nice. AND it's snowing! When did you take this? Bsteph

took it in january or february i think. had luck with the snow in the morning here in germany, so i had to run out to take some pics. :) :) lars

Blurred pic is beautiful, but i like the original more. Like story, like poem. Really beautiful. .n

ok. i see that angels hit a nerv by you all. who knows, when you hide at secret, silent places & when you have patients to wait for the right moment they will come. maybe some more will follow. never expected such comments! my compliments to you all! thank you! :) lars
