Subject: Runtime help

I know I've seen this somewhere but not sure where.....I have a LOT of items in my Poser 5 'pose' files and a lot of them are not showing the thumbs so I can't tell what I'm using...example would be hair texture...only the name of the item is visible. Can anyone direct me to the thread that covered this situation or tell me how to get the thumbs to show up....

Thanks in advance for your help

i think there is an option in "preferences" that will decide how many thumbs can be shown, so maybe if you go over that default number then they don't show up, so maybe adjusting that number will make your thumbs reappear.

it will probally add to your system resource requirements though.

If you have Poser 5, do the following:

Runtime>Prefs>libraryprefs.xml
Open this file with notepad or wordpad.

Find this line:
LibraryPreferences curFolder="0" previewNum=100
Change the "previewNum" value from 100 to a higher value.
Save the file and exit.
Restart Poser.

If you have Poser 6 or 7 go to "Edit" and "Preferences" and check the box about never collapsing thumbnails.

That worked beautifully, thank you both so much...now maybe I should just clean up my runtime a bit so it doesn't happen again  LOL
