Okay this is the first image I see that is still in the galleries from long ago

It is image id=23 so it was really the 23rd image uploaded but I don't see 1-22 still on the site so this is the first I could find.

Artist, PhilC who of course is still around.  This image was uploaded on Feb 17, 1999.

That was fun!!!

Yes I'm glad its someone who so many know and is still around.... He is a good person to hold this honor for sure:)

Somebody needs to point him here as I wonder if he has any idea his is now the oldest image still around!!  COOL

Oh and the "Just for you" thing to vince was because he was wondering out loud about this in another thread and I had forgotten about it and just remembered today to go research it. I couldn't remember which thread so wanted to make sure he saw this.

I will probably change the title though so more will take a peek at history

I do think to remeber the site looked way diffrent then... green and black orso...

definately well deserved by PhilC,

i am amazed that you have only lost the first 22 images in all this time, is that the members back then having deleted them or lost during the transfer over a while back?

i just noticed after i had left a message on it, that the first comment was six years after the image had been posted!!! now they were either very stingy on commenting back then or they hadn't invented the keyboard yet!! LOL.

Images weren't lost during the transfer so I'm assuming its members that either deleted their images when "cleaning house" or maybe they've long gone and deleted their gallery or maybe there were 22 tos violations that caused staff to remove (lol, j/k)..

'cause if so, i think they are the figures that they still use in UK news stories. (usually medical)

they could of been TOS violations, as i bet there wasn't much clothing back then, it was probally Phil that made the clothes that meant that the 23 image was allowed to stay up.

that link wouldn't let me log in, but it did have 1500 people online at the time, do you think there are some that don't know about new Rendo' and are still back there?

there are 1500 lost secret members hiding away over there, wonder what they are doing.

it could be a paralell poser universe.

The site is only a visual archive - like a picture of what Renderosity looked like then.

The links are not supposed to work... so no worry about lost members. Those 1500 were the number of members in 1999 :)

Nostalgia is a wonderful thing.

 

I'd imagine those counts took place after Rosity started  the new membership database after the PFO situation.

 

Remember we all had to re-register? Many of us would have had posts dating back further than 1999. Some of us were even banned from posting due to our associations at that time...lol.(What a fricken mess that was...eh?)

 

But Phil was Quick Draw McGraw,and made the first post after that re-registration evidently.
