The loco looks great. The track, however, appears overscale - more appropriately sized for a toy. Now I've proved that railway matters bring out the nerd in everybody, I'd also better point out that a Pacific's wheel arrangement is expressed as 4-6-2 in the Whyte notation which is commonly used in the USA and the UK.
EnglishBob,
The numbers 2-6-4 or 4-6-2 refer to the arrangement of the wheels. A train like The Flying Scotsman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LNER_Class_A1/A3) is indeed a 4-6-2, refering to 4 small wheels in front, then 6 large wheels, then 2 small wheels at the back (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:2-6-4_locomotives). This is a different type, and has 2 small wheels in front and 4 small at the back.
The tracks where modelled off the blueprints, so the sizes should be correct. We hope. :-)
Unless we calculated wrong, or unless we just totally and utterly messed it up, lol.

The rails were created from a series of blueprints found on Wikipedia and Trains.com. This image has a "forced perspective" look due to the camera's focal length.
These are the same rails that are included in our other train products so all trains will work with all rails and vice versa.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the rails or if you'd like to make your own set of rails, train cars, and engines, please feel free.

Ah, I see from the animation that it is indeed a 2-6-4; in which case, its description as a Pacific at Vanishing Point and at Content Paradise is what's in error. (Edited to add: the correct designation is "Adriatic") My mistake, I couldn't see the wheels clearly in the promotional image. I'll get back to you on the rails, since I have to say they still look big to me on the YouTube clip - but "looks wrong" doesn't always mean "is wrong". I'd better make sure my facts are straight to avoid foot-in-mouth syndrome. ;)
Looks like one fine piece of machinery :)
Now, on a different note, may I interest you in a foot-out-of-mouth-extractor?http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1286310

Will you be, at some point, offering other locomotives in different wheel arrangements?
Specifically, I am look in for some or the articulateds 2-8-8-2, 4-8-8-2 (Southern Pacific's Cab Forwards)? The Cab forwards would be awesome.
Also, what about some of Pennsylvania's duplexes 4-4+4-4?
If you offer 4-6-4 (Hudsons) at some point, may I make a request? Have 1 version streamlines, and one non-streamlined?
