You know, when products like this come out, makes it kinda hard to focus on one era...
I've been wondering WHO would be doing a U-Boat.
Bazze, will you be offering different art for the conning tower, so one could have a u-boat flottilla?
Now all we need is for someone to create a liberty ship (if they haven't), and one could re-do the Battle of the Atlantic.
But this is definitely on my list now :D
Here's one for the U-96 (http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Gal6/5601-5700/gal5678_U-boat_Schlosser/02.jpg)
Then everything you wanted to know about U-Boats (including the emblems): http://www.uboataces.com/ref-insignia.shtml
But, if I had to make a choice, I'd like to see the markings for U-47 (Gunther Prien's boat - Scapa Flow), the U-96, and some others.
OT...you offer a Japanese submarine in the 3D studio format, is there ANY way you could be convinced to offer it in a Poser format? (I for one, would love it). Also, what about something like this (http://www.combinedfleet.com/sen_toku.htm)

no sorry I don't have any more subs planned. I even don't know what I will do next.A bit OT but if you're interested in how the above scene is created/set up then I have written a description here:

If you want an interior of the U-99, watch the movie "Das Boot", it has AWESOME interior shots, and it also shows how resource intensive something like that would be. You not only have food, you have the various compartments, bulkheads, doors, etc.
If you want these poseable, it may be too resource intensive, but could probably be done. If you want interior props where you could focus on a section, then it may not be bad.
If anyone DOES want to try this, I would strongly recommend watching "Das Boot", it shows every section of the submarine, and basically how it was laid out.

This claims to have the interior, but no pictures are showing for me, so I don't know.

Here's the item Helgard was referring to: http://www.poserworks.com/1_categories/military/htm_sea/uboat_view4.htm
Personally, I don't think the interiors are all that realistic, and for $45.00, it's a bit steep. But again, that's just my opinion
