I really loved VP, but now I've gone Mac, and unfortunately VP is only for PC's.
Will always be interested in free lighting Mac plugins. I'm too new to Mac's to want to run anything WIN on it., especially since I am trying to escape the WIN environment.
Thank you very much for passing on the information, Tom.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know there were more presets available for VP, I really love that plugin! :)

About the additional presets for VP that are offered separately, does anyone know if there's a way to keep them in the presets drop down menu instead of having to load them each time, one at a time?

I was wondering the same thing Lucie,
I haven't figured out how to include them in the Presets Drop Down yet but if I do...I'll be sure to revisit this thread and post how to do it.
Glad you all likes it
Sorry bout it being Windows only...but the Gallery Player is straight HTML and Shockwave...so it should be available on the MAC platform.

Hey, great return to a great plugin, thanks Hawkfyr! I also downloaded the OptikGalleryPlayer…nice piece of code! I tried placing the new presets download contents in with the others on the main directory folder but they wouldn’t show up on the drop down window even after booting. For the moment all I can think is that the drop down window is limited to capacity.

Yeah...It seems I have to re-visit some of these great plug-ins I have from time to time.
I get caught up in other projects and simply forget I even have them.
Then I find myself saying" Ya know?!...I wish I would have remembered this plug-in when I was doing that "Dog Photo" project for (Fill in clients name here)...It would have made it so much easier to achieve that Sepia result she wanted".
Yeah...The Gallery seems pretty clean, and not as clucky as some of the other "out-of-the box" galleries I've seem * cough....PHP *...
...anyway...I suspect you are right about there being a cap on the Presets going to the drop menu.
Either that...or "Perhaps" those that live in the drop menu might be made by
Optick Verve (Proprietary)..and the others are 3rd party and they wanted keep those bundled with the Plug-in..."separate"...from those created by 3rd party developers.
Perhaps?
Anyway...I'm glad I was able to re-surface some interest in this plug-in...It's more powerful than it looks at first glance.

That's too bad if that's the case though... I have a feeling I won't be using those extra presets a lot just because of this little detail. When I look for an effect to apply to my image, I keep going back and forth, trying them several times before I make up my mind, it's a bit of a pain to have to reload them every time just to see how they look on the image... But that's no big deal, I still like the ones that are in the drop down menu very much, I'll just keep playing with those! :)

Hi All,
...I'm not sure how new this is, (I hadn't been there for awhile) but now they now have a pretty cool "Gallery Player" available.
It's actually pretty easy and straight forward to use...and like the Virtual Photographer Plug-in...it's totally Free.
Check it out....and don't forget to download the additional Virtual Photographer Preset files.
All available from the downloads page located here:

Just thought I'd pass it along.
