Wha...I'm completely overwhelmed by the breadth of your content.

I just picked up Vue 6 PLE, and have never done any 3d rendering before. Could you recommend where to start on your site?

They had chained him down to things that are, and had then explained the workings of those things till mystery had gone out of the world....And when he had failed to find [wonder and mystery] in things whose laws are known and measurable, they told him he lacked imagination, and was immature because he preferred dream-illusions to the illusions of our physical creation.

My native language is russian, so english little bit brooking, normaly i don't have any problem with my english , but other people do.
I recorded tutorials and other person, who had "0" knowlege of Vue need to transcribe and put voice over.
But with no experance at all on begining , i was forced to create tutorials, so they will increase in difficalty as you go. Now Ami, girl who transcribe tutorials, know Vue well, and can produce very professional work.

Start from #3 and go up, if you don't have good result try, try again. New tutorials comming out with higher skill requerment.

volter ( ) posted Mon, 15 October 2007 at 8:41 AM

marcellap ( ) posted Fri, 02 November 2007 at 6:34 PM

Hi I am new here. NOT to renderosity because I have been creating in Poser for a while now, but I am in Vue. I actually purchased Vue and got Poser as a bundle pkg., not really wanting it. Once I tried getting into Vue I was lost and in the mean time attempted Poser and then got stuck there. LOL
I really want to learn Vue Infinite 6 and am looking for some very simple baby step tutorials. I have the AsileFX Getting Started with Vue 5 Infinite but will that help me with Vue 6 Infinite or will it confuse me more than I am? I went to the geekatplay site but I was rather confused there and didn't see any tutorials for Vue beginners. PLEASE I need HELP BIG time.
Thanks so much,
Marcella

Thelby ( ) posted Fri, 02 November 2007 at 6:43 PM

Your AsileFX Getting Started with Vue 5 Infinite  should be a Great place to get started with Vue6 Infinite. Give it a try and see what you think!!!

I will try and come in here more often so I can learn a little more. Do you know if there is a section for the newbies like myself?

Peggy_Walters ( ) posted Fri, 02 November 2007 at 7:01 PM

GeekatPlay has some tutorials in the planning stage aimed more for beginners.

AsileFX Getting Started will do you OK.  There is a what's new in Vue 6 DVD that will "fill in the blanks" from the other intro DVD.

E-on has some very simple tutorials - don't forget to go through the Kick Start tutorial (it's in Vue's help menu).

I teach an Introduction to Vue class at LVS On-line (http://www.lvsonline.com/index.html).  It's a six week on-line class.  I cover the basics and a lot more!  Next class starts tomorrow.  Not sure if you can still register, but it will be offered again in January.  Starting in January ,I will be teaching an intermediate level class as well as the intro class.

LOL Hi Peggy, it's me Marcella. LOL Remember I purchased the lessons at your last session from LVS but I didn't have time to do the classes. I guess it's easier if you have someone to ask questions. I guess I just had trouble finding things. I will get those out and try again. May I ask questions here if I have any problems?
Nice to see you here..
Marcella

Peggy_Walters ( ) posted Fri, 02 November 2007 at 7:11 PM

Of course!  If you have a specific question on one of the lesson plans, send me an instant message or e-mail me.  I don't want to use the forum for class stuff...

If it's a basic question on Vue, this is the place to get help!

Whoa! You've put out a lot since I last found time to dabble in Vue!

Your tutorials are awesome! I went from knowing nothing to feeling completely comfortable with Vue in the space of just a few hours of watching your stuff.

Thanks a lot!
