I don't know of a tutorial, but just a few hints that work for me.
Use the Spline Break button OFTEN.
Form each move twice as fast as you think it should be. If you think
it should take four seconds to lift the spoon to the mouth, make it two seconds.
When the character is not doing anything, add 'idle animation' with my
Naturalizer.

I have a feeling Naturalizer won't work on V4. It depends on "knowing"
the names of certain morphs and parameters.
When Jessi and James came out, I had to add some new names
to the lists, and I'll bet V4 has even more new names.
(Sighing).... I'll probably have to break down and buy V4, just to keep
these scripts in line.

Hmm. I've heard a similar problem with Naturalizer not seeming to do
anything. I'll try it right now and see what's going on. It could be a P7
version problem more than anything else......

See if this is any better. I'm testing with Jessi, because I don't have
any of the Vickies.
Suggestion: Set the sliders for main speed and blink speed up a ways
from the default. [

to avoid the robot movement look i would suggest that at each keyframe you move Every body part, even if it is only slightly. Good Luck, doing animation, even in Poser, is alot of work! ----------- "Techno fetishist with social deficit" ~ MitsukoAttached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?message_id=2995466&ebot_calc_page#message_2995466
There was a lot of good advice in the attached thread--scroll down to the numbered tips people posted. Good luck!--Tim

I would really like to know how to make an animation, and I'm not talking about moving the camera or a ball from one point to another with 30 frames shift in the time line. I'm talking about using complex figures like V3,4 or D3/M3 in a way their moves will look real and the hair and clothes will react to the movements and to the enviornment. I looked for such a tutorial or training but all I have found was related to 'how to use this button/feature/screen' or other things related to making still images. I know the type of animation one can produce on a single PC is saying the least, limited, and I know Poser is not the first choice for creating animations but it's the richest 3D software I know of (characters, clothes, hair etc) and frankly all I want is the tips of how to make the figure move like real and not like a doll/robot. It's the small details that matter. If you are familiar with such tutorial please let me know...
Thanks
